Connect My Rent ("the service") is operated by Sisterhood of Women ("we", "us", "our"). These terms are a contract between you and us. By using the service you agree to them.
Connect My Rent is a record-keeping and communication tool for residential lettings in England. It does not provide legal advice, and does not check, certify or guarantee that any tenancy, document or landlord is compliant. Storing a certificate or completing a checklist does not by itself satisfy any legal duty. You remain responsible for your own legal obligations.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for your account security and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Landlords create property records, invite tenants, manage faults, upload documents and message. Tenants join a property they are invited to, log faults, view shared documents and message. Landlords are responsible for the lawfulness of the data they add and for having the right to invite the tenants they add.
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, abusive, defamatory or infringing, do not upload content you have no right to share, do not try to access another user's data, and do not interfere with the service.
You keep ownership of what you add and grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it to provide the service. Keep your own copies of important documents.
We handle personal data per our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you upload documents containing other people's data, you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and may change or withdraw features with reasonable notice where possible.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we do not warrant that it meets any particular legal requirement or makes any tenancy compliant.
Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss caused by your own failure to meet a legal obligation, or for indirect or consequential loss.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach or if we stop offering the service.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction.
